GET DOWN AND CLEAN UP!

Get down and clean up with your library!

Keep Louisiana Beautiful has partnered with the Louisiana State Library and the Louisiana Public Library System to make litter clean up supplies readily available to check out at Lafourche Parish Public Library.

​

You can now use your library card to check out a clean up kit, which includes a safety vest, grabbers, a trash bag, and instructions on how to conduct your cleanup.

 

This program provides the perfect opportunity for students to get service hours for school. It’s also a great hands-on way for families, small homeschool groups, youth groups, and scouts to care for their neighborhood.

HOW DO I CHECK OUT A KIT?

Kits are available at the Thibodaux & Lockport branches, but can be placed on hold to be picked up at another branch.

Kits check out for two weeks.  We have multiple kits available for larger groups who want to clean up together.
