Lafourche Parish Public Library meets the needs of its community through a system of nine branches, library headquarters, and a bookmobile. Branches are categorized as being either a main branch or satellite branch, and each branch is assigned to a particular region of the parish - north, central, or south.
*Our South Lafourche & Golden Meadow branches were significantly damaged during Hurricane Ida & are currently closed. Patrons are encouraged to visit the Larose Branch or our Library -2- Geaux Bookmobile for services.

The South Lafourche Branch suffered significant damage due to Hurricane Ida and is currently in the rebuilding process. Library Administration and the Library Board are working alongside FEMA and Parish Government to monitor the renovations and move the project forward. South Lafourche patrons are encouraged to visit our South Lafourche Storefront, located in the Tarpon Heights Shopping Center, for library services.

Community Wi-Fi Hub is located at Golden Meadow Town Hall for public use.
