POLICIES

The Lafourche Parish Public Library Policy Manual was created by a committee consisting of members of the library's administration and staff, and was approved by the Lafourche Parish Public Library Board of Control.

The purpose of the Policy Manual is to set guidelines for the library system's day-to-day operations through established policies and procedures.  The library's policies and procedures are written based on current library standards, principles, and practices.  The Policy Manual is an ever-changing document reflecting current trends in technology and the changing needs of the community.
