I was reluctant to read Assistant to the Villain by Hannah Nicole Maehrer for the longest time because it seemed a little silly to me. After finally reading it, I can confirm that it contains much silliness. But, of the best kind! It has become one of my favorites. This was such a delightful Evil Boss/Assistant office romance romp and had me laughing throughout. Out loud!
The story is dual POV between Evie and the Villain and shows their growing affection towards one another (that both FRUSTRATINGLY refuse to acknowledge.) The story also reveals that someone is sabotaging the Villain’s business and seems to be out for his life. Someone very close …
